WELCOME TO SOFEA ACUPUNCTURE
Formerly the School of Five Element Acupuncture
SOFEA was founded in 1995 by Nora Franglen, and from 1995 to 2007 accepted students on a three-year course, fully accredited by the British Acupuncture Accreditation Board, leading to the award of a Licentiate in Acupuncture recognized by the British Acupuncture Council. The emphasis of the course was the practice of five element acupuncture.
Nora Franglen has now decided that the time is right for her to move on to concentrate upon what is very close to her heart, the development of the specific clinical skills needed by practitioners if they wish to practise five element acupuncture. The school therefore closed its doors as an undergraduate institution at Camden Town in July 2007, and SOFEA moved a little closer into town to new premises at 57 Harley Street, London W1G 8QS (tel: 020 7580 5850). There Nora has gathered a group of five element practitioners around her to practise with her.
What we now wish to offer in terms of postgraduate work and seminars will in future concentrate on helping practitioners either on an individual basis, through clinical observation of patients at Harley Street or in practitioners' own practices, or through small seminars focused on one or other aspect of five element practice.
